fish-dbg software package provides friendly interactive shell (debugging symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fish-dbg
fish-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fish-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fish-dbg *
You will get with fish-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
